Elizabeth started getting involved in theater in junior high. She is currently in theater 4 and enjoys getting to see all the incredible work her and her peers are capable of. Last year at Taylorsville, she performed in “Cymbeline”, “Anastasia”, and “Twelfth Night”. Each individual experience helped her gain a even greater appreciation for dedication to this craft. She is honored to not only be in “Mamma Mia” this year, but also be the paint master for the show. Taylorsville theater will always be a huge part of Elizabeth's life she'll look back fondly on.
I’ve been involved with theatre ever since I was in 5th grade! In elementary school, I part of the drama club for two years and performed in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” as Hermia. In junior high, I performed as a brainiac in the “High School Musical” ensemble. In high school, I’ve performed as a juror in “Big Bad and Little Red”, and am currently performing as ensemble in Mamma Mia! I love being involved with theatre because I get to meet and work with new people, and I love the thrill of performing for an audience and making people laugh!
This is Jason’s second year in the Tville theater department, and he has had the time of his life!! He feels incredibly blessed to have been a part of amazing shows, such as “She Kills Monsters”, “Anastasia”, and “Mamma Mia!”. This department means so much to Jason, and has helped him to grow as a person, as a singer, and as an actor. He is so grateful for his growing theater family, and can’t wait to see what’s next!
I was introduced to the theater by my older cousin Setu. So I decided to join "Descendants" which was my first play, and landed the role of Jay. My second musical was "Willy Wonka Jr", in which I was Phineas Trout. I also did "Newsies Jr", playing the role of Jack Kelly. After all these productions I have worked with amazing people and production teams, and I'm so excited to work with the crew and people of "Mamma Mia!", and learn new techniques and skills!
