The widowed and renowned matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi's duty is to find a lover for "half-a-millionaire" Horace Vandergelder in Yonkers, New York. It is there she convinces Vandergelder along with his two clerks, his niece and her lover to go to New York City so Dolly can find them a match, and to cover up her own romantic desires. This jazzy musical has an underlying theme of rich vs. the poor, which has a prominent relevance in current times. We are proud to present this Golden Age musical this fall!
