Featured here are the Thespians of the Month, students who have shown they will do the work and be considerate thespians.
Trajan is an active member of the Taylorsville High School theatre department and has been for his entire high school career. He is also hoping to direct a show in this year's spotlight showcase!
Chris is really excited to be part of this years drama club and all of this years plays! Chris has participated in multiple productions at Tville including Henry V as King Henry V, Hello Dolly as a featured vocalist, Wait Until Dark as a policeman, and is currently participating in As You Like It as props manager and Orlando, and in Mean Girls as Glen Coco and the moderator as well as a featured vocalist! He enjoys all things musical, magical, and his martial arts, and loves to read!
When Elyse Davis moved down to Taylorsville for her first middle school year, she felt alone. She didn't know anyone and didn't have many unique hobbies. But when she auditioned for Frozen Jr. at Bennion Jr. High, she knew she found where she belonged. Ever since, she has been a loyal member of the Theater department, joining the International Thespian society, taking Hale Center Theater classes, auditioning for every school show available, and working hard to stay involved and gain more experience. If you see her performing as an actress, singer, and/or dancer, cheer her on! She accepts any and all feedback to help her reach her dream job and life goal of becoming a Professional Broadway Actress! Her dream role to perform is 'Christine' in The Phantom of the Opera.
Johann is so so excited to be a part of the Taylorsville theatre community. He loves theatre with a passion he's been doing it ever since 6th grade and has fallen in love with it. Right now, Johann is in a show at West Jordan Youth Theatre called Freaky Friday. It's super cool and you should come watch it.
